This gallery contains several "fauve" paintings done during the last year or so. "Fauve" is a french term used by early impressionists to describe bold, unbridled use of color. The term literally means "wild beast".
These paintings were a lot of fun to do. In their execution, I attempted to portray what I saw inside myself when I looked at an image, rather than the literal, local view I see with my outer eyes.
